Summer part one.

Summer is short and rare in Germany,(well from our experience). So the following are me practicing taking pictures with my kids on the nice days. In doing this I have discovered that trying to get a picture of all three of my kids looking at the camera is nearly impossible. I am either not entertaining enough or am full of empty threats. Never the less, this is part of my summer.

Bodhi Buchman

Bodhi joined us in this world the first of June. Finally I got a chance to practice on such a handsome baby. We tried to get some pictures of him and his big sister Piper, but she just would not hold still, sit or hold her brother. I think we captured some cute moments. I would of loved to of had a few more hours preferably with out my children, but the time we did have was a great one. I hope you enjoy this little man as much as I did and as much as his family does.

We just got back this last week visiting family in Idaho, and were so excited to find out that we did not miss strawberry picking season. So with the help of my neighbor we found a wonderful patch with super nice people, and picked until our buckets could hold no more. Noah did not get one strawberry into the pail. He was to busy eating them, and Nelson only managed a few. Now I have some very cute pictures and 15 containers of strawberry jam. All in all a wonderful adventure.

Congratulations Becky!!!

Becky my neighbor is graduating from college in a few weeks and she let me take a few announcement pictures for her. She says she hates her smile but I thought it was pretty great. We are so lucky to have such a great view from our building we didn't have to go far to get some wonderful pictures. It also helps that Germany looks like a Bob Ross painting right now. Soo amazing!! Love it here.. and Great Job Becky!!

I miss him like CRAZY!!!

It has been just over a month since Patrick my husband left for his TWELVE month deployment. {sigh} Some days I am so busy that I don't realize he is gone, until I am making dinner and realize it is only the kids and I, and it doesn't matter what time we eat. Or when I sit down after wrestling the kids to bed and I have that quiet moment to think. It isn't as sad or depressing now, but sometimes I just miss him like CRAZY!!.. And today is that day.. I miss his smile, and him making me laugh with his silly jokes I only get. Or making him laugh with the jokes he would only get. Really I just miss my best friend, his hugs, reassurance and the confidence he gives me. So today is a post dedicated to my Bestie! My BFF! My eternal companion!! .. I love you more then words could ever express.. You are truly my everything Patrick Michael Westover, and I love you..

April Showers Brings Spring Flowers

The other day my son Noah was so excited when he looked out my front window "mommy there is a pink tree." When I went to investigate, sure enough a beautiful pink tree sitting on top of the hill in front of our apartment. So today when I went to take out the trash I took a moment to capture these perfect blossoms the God had created. I figured that since my husband is not here to bring me flowers God made a special delivery. Well I can think it was all for me! :0) Then I did decided that the day I have a house and yard all my trees will bloom because a girl can never be given to many flowers. Happy Spring!

Winter Wonderland

So the other day there was a beautiful frost on everything. And to my surprise it lasted all day, and never melted. So in the middle of the day I had a chance to go out side and capture a bit of this amazing frost that makes winter a wonder.

The Buchman Family

So I am so very excited to share with you the photos of my first family photo shoot.

The Buchman's are a cute little military family that live here in Baumholder. I was invited to Brenda's baby shower, and was able to get a little family shoot in before hand. Besides the very chilly weather that day, I had a blast capturing the smiles of Piper, and the teasing of Chris and Brenda. All in all I had a blast!
